“The SONflower Gal Giving Fund was originally launched in 2018 to raise money for compassion projects locally and globally with a focus on women's ministries. Today, SONflower Gal's compassion focus and heart for giving back is the same, but with a focus on donating to nonprofits who have a mission to fight & cure cancer and to aid in the wellness of blessed caretakers.

Over the last few years, I have been navigating anxiety and holding onto joy, hope, and trusting in God’s plan as the wife, caregiver and source of strength for my husband as he battles cancer. Like many women, I lean on the fantastic gals in my life. They are the cheerleaders, comedians, therapists, prayer warriors, and navigators through stormy seas and sunny days.
